EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (EE)
A skilled foreign worker seeking to immigrate to Canada can apply for Canadian permanent residence through the Express Entry System. The electronic system mainly administers three Canadian federal immigration economic programs that are listed below:
• Federal Skilled Worker
• Canadian Experience Class
• Federal Skilled Trades
Each program has different requirements, and eligibility is determined by factors including, but not limited to, age, qualified work experience, educational history, and English/French language skills.
How does it work?
The candidate creates an account and enters their profile using the Canadian government website. Once the candidate has qualified in one of the three programs, they enter a database where they will compete with other candidates.
From time to time, the Government of Canada selects and invites those candidates with the highest scores according to the points matrix.
Once the invitation is received, the candidate may apply for permanent residence in Canada.
