Berenice R. Manjarrez

Canadian Immigration Law Practitioner | RCIC# 418599

Berenice is an Immigration Law Practitioner with a master’s degree from the University of Manchester, England. In 2010, she graduated as an Immigration Law Practitioner from Bow Valley College in Alberta, Canada and was certified in the same year by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).

Berenice has extensive experience preparing a wide variety of immigration applications, both for temporary and permanent status. This includes services such as visitor, student, and work visas, immigration status extensions and restorations, family sponsorship applications, permanent residency applications through various federal and provincial programs, and residency and citizenship applications.

Berenice also has experience in corporate services in the preparation of LMIAs, (Labour Market Impact Assessments), work permits, online job postings, job offer and resume preparation. In addition to being an excellent immigration legal advisor, Berenice stands out for her well-known empathy for her clients. She is a professional, responsible, experienced, trustworthy, and honest guide, who genuinely cares about every client she works with.

Mildred Castellanos Escamilla

Mildred is an Immigration Law Practitioner, has a post-doctorate from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is certified by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Her experiences have provided not only a professional perspective but also a personal one: Mildred herself has experienced the process of migrating to Canada, which improved her understanding of migratory processes and situations. Mildred is characterized by her warmth, professionalism, honesty, and great sense of responsibility. She has a prowess in problem solving, clear and concise communication, and great efficiency, which shows in her work. 

Mildred provides services in partner and family sponsorships, Labor Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), temporary work and study permits, restorations and extensions of immigration status, and permanent residence through federal and provincial programs.

Mildred’s years of work experience have given her the foundation to form immigration strategies, offer appropriate advice to each case, and represent her clients in a committed and high-quality manner.

Xiomara Lugo

Legal Assistant

Xiomara is a legal assistant at Immigration Law Associates. She graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico), where she earned her law degree. Her solid academic background and experience in various branches of law, particularly in Administrative Law, have allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the relationship between citizens and governmental institutions, as well as the legal framework that governs these connections.

Xiomara stands out for her ethical, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach to immigration consulting. She understands that each immigration case is unique and represents a pivotal moment in people’s lives, so she offers personalized, clear, and committed attention to her clients’ goals.

Among her key skills are assertive communication, a sense of priority, responsibility, and a strong commitment to quality service. Xiomara provides humanized support, with legal backing and comprehensive attention.

Dani Sánchez Talavera

Legal Assistant

Dani is part of the Immigration Law Associates team as a legal and research assistant. A graduate from the University of Calgary, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies. Dani is currently pursuing a specialization in Cultural Resource Management at the University of Victoria. Her academic background has allowed her to develop a comprehensive perspective on migration processes, with an emphasis on the connections between culture and community.   

Given the nature of her studies, Dani has great interest in human migration, which is an important factor in researching and information gathering for migration cases. Dani demonstrates expertise in writing legal documents, letters, and conducting research in immigration processes and legal requirements. She is always focused on the success of the company’s immigration cases. 

With extensive administrative skills and experience, Dani also oversees the company’s database systems, and implements administrative procedures to ensure an efficient service.
